Slowly, slowly catch a monkey. It all holds so much potential, but it needs to be implemented in a phased approach – test and see  what combinations work and deliver the best results for our business ito placements and building a talent pipeline

Who are you?

How can we make today a success?

 

My name is Riette and I live in Paulshof.  I’m married to Wouter and we’re celebrating our two year anniversary this month.  I work for a business called Smollan.  We’re Field Marketing agent for large FMCG manufacturing companies.  I’ve currently moved from Operational HR (managing the HR function for a Route to Market business)  to Group HR, where I look after the Generalist function of the Group Services departments like IT, Finance and the call centre, but mainly focusing on Wellness, Policy development and being the custodian of the HR identity.  This is why I’m here, as we want to move into creating a two-fold social media function.  The one is, to bring the HR community together through something similar to Skype and the other is to use something like Sharepoint, to market the HR function.  If I’m honest, this is a daunting task, as we employ over 20000 employees, and have recently expanded into the wider international arena and our employees will be watching this space!  Our HR community is over 100 employees and they too, will be waiting in anticipation for something very exciting...
